Meek Mill Preps "Dreamchasers 3", Leaves Beef Behind

The last few weeks have seen Meek Mill trading off diss tracks with former collaborator and fellow Philly emcee Cassidy. The beef has come to a stand-still, as Meek is trying to keep his focus on releasing his new mixtape, and staying “on his grind” for 2013.
In a recent interview, when asked about the Cassidy diss, Meek made his intentions clear that he'd like to start 2013 in a more productive mindset. “We ain't doin' that no more” Meek explained, setting the record straight that he'd rather concentrate on music than waste time beefing. “I don't do that all the time. That's not my twist.” said Meek, even going as far as to say, “anybody ask me [again] about a Cassidy question, we gonna cut the interview”.
Meek also shared some details on his new project, which will serve as another addition to his highly successful Dreamchasers series. Fans of the Meek's aggressive delivery, and street-ready production will be pleased to hear that they can expect more of the successful formula found on the last two Dreamchasers tapes.
Meek reveals that the tape will feature “Wale, Rozay, [and] the whole MMG”. He's particularly excited about a collaboration with Future titled “Money Ain't No Issue”, and says the tape can be expected in the next month or two.
Meek also made sure to clarify that the Dreamchasers 3 cover he uploaded to Instagram is not official, as another cover in in the works.
Even with a new mixtape in progress, Meek Mill is still riding off the success of his debut album Dreams And Nightmares, and plans to release a video for the Intro from the album in the coming weeks.

WELCOME TO 2013!!!

WELCOME TO 2013!!!

OKAY! So 2012 swooped by pretty quick and yes,wev got alot to say about it. We carefully watched the hip hop game and saw a couple 3Pointers (Alpha Ent),free throws (XYZ,So Good Ent,),a couple blocks (Macky2/Slap D) and a whole lot of air balls (born n bred awards,Compolition,ETC).but through all this what did we learn? we learnt that if 2012 repeats itself music wise, all you artists out here might aswell just hang those microphones AND GET YOURSELVES BACK INTO SCHOOL or GET JOBS..because honestly speaking, how do you expect me to pay my hard earned K50 for an album thats been poorely advertised and consists of tracks that make my stomach turn because of the unbearable poor quality in the recording and mixing??if we did that, then the moon is pink, stevey wonder is not blind and youre all alians..we have spat and trampled all over the word "QUALITY" and lost all creativity.take our South African partners for example, any of you ever watched the Metro FM music awards?ok,even just th gospel awards..no,even jus a simple concert without any rily big names?you probably havent because you v been too busy comforting urselves with pathetic excuses like "thats south africa and this is zambia" "thoz pipo have the money for such things" "dont copy what others do,you have to be original"...so what makes South Africa more special than you?..how many influential faces do u see in this country on a daily basis?...being pathetic at wat u do implies originality???...coz honestly that a riddle we have tried to solve but we just cant figure it out.ITS PATHETIC!!!..In 2013,lets bring out th best in us n show wat we truely have. zambians and africans alike are strong, focused, will driven pipo that have and can accomplish great things..the likes of HHP,AKA,DBANJ,POMPI,KULI CHANA,C.R.I.S.I.S,ICE PRINCE,TOYA DELAZY,MUTINTA,TUMI & THE VOLUME,PROVERB,PROKID are just a few remarkable african names that have made something of themselves and have the talent to prove it.Gone are the days an artist sat down and gave us his/her truest thoughts and feelings about life and real situations.now all we can quote from what is being played is "money" "b***chs" "hustle"(some of yall hv neva even done this a single day in ur silver spoon fed lives) and all that stuff and we think to ourselves,WHAT WUD PAC SAY?or BIGGIE?or legends like BIG PUN, NATE DOGG, OL DIRTY BASTARD,EASY E etc??? and somebody please tell us what was up with everybody sounding the same last year???We cudnt tell the difference between alot of u kats(classic example:Jay Rox and a bunch of under talented kats)..lets face it,2012 was one of the least productive years in zambia music history.so we scooped a few awards, got signed by foreign labels, started our own labels and the like but WHAT CONCRETE ACCOMPLISHMENTS DO WE REALLY HAVE?what, getting groupies pregnant and drinking your heads off..and another quick point, theres too many alcoholics in the game, its kinda played out.and all coz you think youre on top of the world.dude,ur not even steppin on the beach yet.youre head isnt even out of the water yet.when youre on top of the world we get to see youre estates, big car collections, big business deals, international awards, big international features, magazine covers and all that stuff(u get the picture)..this is why we NEED to lift the underground kats who have the talents but are getting held down.OK so maybe some of them are slacking(ALOT OF THEM ARE SLACKING) but TALENT IS TALENT..as we're typing this we're listening to Bow Wow - Crunch Time(instrumental) via www.hipstrumentals.com and wev already thought of a whole list of fresh kats hu wud completely BURY this beat and not even try..kats like @ILLystr8 @boyrymer @thr33_2 @TheJuggernauts @DonFidelisMusiq @JOLNS @whitestrip16 @BarzNation @GACBOYZ @Slick_Uno are just a few of th artists we know wud murk this literally in ther sleep..but the questions ARE:
  1. ARE THEY SERIOUS ENOUGH?
  2. IF THEY MADE IT THIS YEAR,WOULD THEY BE READY FOR THE FAME?
  3. HOW FAR WOULD THEY GO UP THE INTERNATIONAL HIP HOP LADDER?

and last but not least? ARE THEY GOING TO STICK TO DELIVERING REAL UN CUT HIP HOP OR WILL THEY DRIFT AWAY FROM WHAT THEY DO NOW AND SLOWLY DRIFT INTO THE ENDLESS PIT OF BRAGGING AND NO HARD WORK LEADING THEM TO THE HARSH REALITY OF ONE HIT SINGLES AND BROKENESS??

AS THE FAMOUS NERVE WRECKING SAYING GOES,TIME WILL TELL!

HAVE A GREAT AND SUCCESSFUL 2013

 WORD OUT HIP HOP!!!
